This is grate news for Android follower that the Android Jelly Bean upgrade was just around the corner for the Motorola Xoom, but we’re still surprised to hear that some users are already receiving it so soon. As Motorola now owned by Google that is now pushing out the Android 4.1.1 update over-the-air,
according to The Verge, but it hasn’t actually made any official announcement. Neither has Google, which leads us to believe this could simply be a limited rollout before the software actually goes out to every user.

What’s interesting is that not every user who has received the update so far is part of the Motorola feedback program, which gives users early access to software updates. So it’s certainly possible that your Xoom could be next on the list.
The Xoom is one of just a few Android devices with a 5-megapixel front camera and a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera, 32GB of local storage (plus a potential for more SD storage after the next software update), 1GB of RAM, 4G support once the LTE roll-out starts and after a software upgrade, and 10-hours of battery life, the Xoom has the hardware specifications to make you sit up and take notice. on Android Market that have already received Jelly Bean in the United States, following updates to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus S. If only all vendors were as speedy as Motorola.

The Motorola Xoom even touts this fact in the Google Books applicant, there's a cool page flipping animation. The Motorola Xoom has a decidedly PC-like UI in that you can press a button to see all open apps (unfortunately, you can't selectively close them from here but you can close apps through a memory manager under the settings screen), click the clock to see notifications and access settings, and move objects around the screen easier.
